Julian Beever

In English:
Great! Insanelly Great!

Modern Art has new ways and means to express itself with no doubt. Probably, the Computer it’s the biggest change we has: most of all for the Architecture. But, in the third millennium, people that can leave us without words still exists: people capable to make a Work of Art… from a draw with crayon on a pavement.

Julian Beever is great: it’s useless to define his Art and his inspiration… his fancy… his liking… his faculty of abstraction…
To “define” his Art in the right way, the only way is to show you a lot of photos from his gallery.

In Italiano:
Grande! Veramente Grande!

MS: «Was DES cracked? Really?»

cracker... ;)
Yeasterday Nemo and I have found a post on OSSBlog about the new release of ophcrack 2.3.4.

Ophcrack is a Windows password cracker based on rainbow tables. It is a very efficient implementation of rainbow tables done by the inventors of the method. It comes with a GTK+ Graphical User Interface and runs on Windows, Mac OS X (Intel CPU) as well as on Linux.

In the last release, ophcrack supports Vista. Mmmm… sounds strange. Continue…

XCode meets Mono

Photo of a Mono
And… seems to be a nice meeting. ;)
After a lot of development, the comunity surrounding the project realeases last stable version 1.2.3.1 of Mono.

What about Mac OS X? Here is a dedicated page on the official wiki of Mono. And, in particular, I’m happy to highlight a tutorial/howto about XCode and Mono integration: CSharpPlugin.

I know that Mono is the open-source implementation of .Net (started by Novell), and that I hate M$, but… I can’t hate a framework. It’s like to hate the Plutonium because we make the Atomic_Bomb with it! ;)

Besides:

  1. I have had a little experience with Mono (a Gecko# and GTK# based browser)… and it was very good. In particular, I like delegates very much.
  2. .Net and C# specification are standardized at the ECMA: it’s one of the few times that M$ does things in the right way.
